Evolution of quality at Cervello through the Taas
Cervello, committed to excellence in its processes and customer experience, aimed to further improve the quality of its deliveries, as well as increase the efficiency of its tests and realized that the implementation of Tests as a Service (TaaS), Better Now Tecnologia, would contribute a lot on this journey towards improvement continuous of your deliveries.
Approach
The approach adopted was one of collaboration and commitment. We work in close partnership with Cervello to understand its specific needs and requirements. We started with the client a process of updating and/or gradual creation of relevant documentation and also the implementation of tests, initially in legacy systems, to ensure greater reliability in the entire process.
When introducing the TAAS into Cervello, important challenges were identified in the quality and testing process:
• Documentation update: Need to update the test documentation related to the application's features.
• Test coverage: Increase test coverage to prevent impacts arising from new application updates.
• Business Risk Reduction: Minimize risks by adopting continuous testing practices throughout the development cycle.
To address these challenges, Better Now has structured the adoption of Testing as a Service (TaaS) in line with Cervello's development processes:
• Test Structure: Development of a set of manual and automated tests in accordance with existing development processes.
• Integration to the development cycle: insertion of quality activities and tests in advance, promoting the effective practice of shift-left.
• Robust test base: Creation of a solid foundation of tests, allowing the identification and correction of defects before they impact the production environment.
